Mirage to Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas Transformation Update 02 06 2025

This is a Mirage Las Vegas to Hard Rock Hotel transformation update taken on Thursday, February 06, 2025. The video starts from the south west side of the site. This is the area overlooking the old pool and dolphin habitat area. On my last video, we were able to see a crane in this area lifting a steel beam. I came to this side to see what was being built. We are able to see that the crane is holding a steel beam with the iron workers lining it up to bolt it together. I'm not sure what this is going to be. You can see the steel frame and what appears to be cement block walls going up around it. I then make my way to the front of the property to check out what is going on over the wall. It looks like more rebar is going in the Guitar tower area.

At the Palazzo, that was intended to be condominiums but that went bust with the 2008 crash. I've heard that it may eventually be another hotel tower. The scrim is just to hide the exposed frame and they replace it from time to time when it fades. It has been put on pause for nearly 20 years.

i seen the other day, that they're building a New 600 room Hotel in front of the existing towers, shaped like a guitar. Don't know but it will be interesting to see it go up!

Those cranes and tarp at The Venetian have been there since the financial crisis 2008. They canceled the tower and haven't touched it since.

13:49 When I went to Vegas in 2011, I remember that tower there just being steel. So I don't think they have done anything after that wrap.

I've been out to Vegas many times over the last 10 12 years they have never actually added to that area of the Venetian I don't know if they started something and stopped but it has been like that for over a decade anyway
