Loved the video, I've been trying out several Blue Hybrid builds for several months now, so I've got some feedback about the very crucial weakness of this deck, which is ofc, dealing with Level 6 Stacks like MachinedramonX / Gallantmons / RagnaLoardmons / Jesmons and especially Beelzemons. Since they usually got too many inheriteds to strip and ever stun. The cheapest answer I found was running 2x V-Wing Blade, great card, essentially a more cost-efficient Cocytus Breath, alas not removing lvl.7s. With the draw power this deck offers it shouldn't be an issue, it comes up quite often and has saved me quite a few games coming up in Security.

V-Wing Blade was my go-to back when Cocytus Breath was still crazy expensive and hard to find. I totally agree that two slots for either V-Wing Blade or Cocytus Breath would be well spent here, depending on your local meta. The only reason I would prefer Cocytus Breath over V-Wing Blade is that the latter doesn't touch Quartzmon or DeathXmon, both of which are huge issues for this deck.

It’s definitely the best way to play Mirage now. Funny enough, ShineGreymon probably does best with hybrids too until we get its BT13 support.

Thank you! I think I might keep the build the same for the most part in BT12. The only thing Im still looking for is a beefy Level 6 or 7. This deck loses to BlackWarGreymon and Machinedramon, so something like Gabubond or Omnimon X could help.

I really like Lanamon since she's a hybrid that can tuck a useful rookie inheritable, and jamming on a consistent two-cost evo beats KendoGarurumon for value. Calmaramon is a bit more niche and I think she's better suited to Fish decks, or a dedicated AncientMermaidmon build. Her three cost is just too much honestly, and her applications are a bit more limited.

Hey just a heads up @22 minute mark the xros heart play, went for a X7 play but kept the digitama under the stack, if you’re using the starmons you get rid of the digitama under it. Also could just be casual games but remember in xros heart to put the cards in the right order when you can

Yeah, sadly that nut was impossible to crack. I tried so many different techs, but nothing worked. But hey, one auto-loss is fine. It tested well into the rest of the meta, so I was satisfied with that.

@@kevinski-tcg The issue is that BWM is basically THE meta. Even with the restriction he's still the most powerful deck and you're gonna fight against 2 or 3 every tournament, so any deck that can't beat BWM can't really play competitive.

That has been my experience more over the last few weeks. Between BWGx and Beelze, there’s little room for anything else. Thankfully there’s a different shop I go to where people tend to play more tier 1.5-2 stuff. Obviously, we need a solution to BWGx and Beelze long term or things will get pretty stifling as you’ve pointed out.

This deck steals so many wins that it's not even funny. The only old nemesis it struggles against is Machinedramon, funny enough. You can strip it, but Analogman just ruins your day. Ragna however, ain't so mighty 🤣

You know, I was going mad trying to find a BT11 build myself. I've got all the cards just chilling too... Not a bad idea... The new BT12 blue hybrid stuff could make Bond very interesting and aggressive.

How do you feel the Bt-13 support will affect the deck?

I think the deck will basically fill the gaping hole left by Melga. It’s fast, swings a bunch, and clears the field. I’m actually gonna test out MirageGaogamon Burst Mode in Blue Hybrids to see if it can help with the Machinedramon matchup.
