My uncle (Jay Booker) wrote Sunday in the South for Shenandoah. It was his one big hit. Thanks for making it relevant again, Mrs. Lambert. It truly is a beautiful song.

Miranda needs Entertainer of the Year really soon. She's been proving her talent for years and it's about time she got this award. Both she and Carrie Underwood are basically the only current powerhouse female vocalists in country and both of them deserve that award. Let's go Ran Fans.

This is not just a tribute to Shenandoah. Those who know earlier country will recognize her lyrics as song titles to many other country singers/groups which I highly recommend checking out. (Hotter than a two dollar pistol - George Jones.) (You and me go fishin' in the dark - Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (AWESOME song btw.) (Killin' Time - Clint Black) (Restless Heart - early country band "When She Cries") (Next to you sitting next to me - Shenandoah) (Shake the Sugar Tree - Pam Tillis) (All you gotta do is give me than wink - Neal McCoy) (This ain't no thinkin' thing - Trace Adkins) (Turn on the radio - Reba McEntire)

Hordes of bro-country fans don't know what they're missing. Catchy lyrics and booty-shaking (and that's just from the guys) are nice and all, but what matters is when you sing about real stories and people from the heart. Thank you Miranda :)

I typically don't like songs that just use other song titles, but this is the best I have heard. This is what you get when you put Miranda and Ashley Monroe together. I love this song.
