I love this one too. She said in an interview she had planned to sing something else but at the last minute decided to sing this one. The oooh gives me goosebumps every time.

The first time I heard this song on the ACM awards show, Miranda performed it so hauntingly chilling it gave me goosebumps and the lyrics made me cry as I could feel her pain. The song resonates with so many...….who has never felt that level of heartache? She said she was actually suppose to sing another song but at the last minute decided on this one. (could be because Blake and Gwen were sitting in front of her as she sang the song. Like them too but that was just wrong) That's why she only had a guitar accompaniment. For me it added to the lonely heartbreak feeling. I love this song and I immediately bought the cd after hearing it on the show. I've loved Miranda back before she became who she is today, when she was displaying her songwriting and singing ability here in her hometown. Love you Miranda!!!

Her story telling in this song is absolutely brilliant. Sorry, I usually don't just random comment like this but here I go lol The song starts with what's universally weird/outcast~ circus folks. Next is what's universally hated, politicians. 3rd, she brings it back to herself and how it relates to her. The final blow comes full circle by "looking in the mirror" at the end. She speaks volumes without even bringing up the subject. Brilliant. Sorry I came in here and rambled. I usually don't. Anyway, I hope you listen to the song now so you know what the hell I'm talking about. Lol
