I forgot to check back with you on So Huang. She got married at 20 yrs old, found out she had cancer, and the treatment rendered her unable to have children. She is a devout Christian. Now, show me a special smile because everyone tries a Whitney song(I'll never know why!), but this song has to hit So extra hard because her hubby is all she has. We should send her a card! I say that like we live in the same town.

Do you know the story behind her awesome talent? She has always been singing, but when she was 20 years old and newly married she got cancer in her stomach and had to go through several operation. Because of this, she can never have children. But being member of the church she got people praying for her, and she survived the cancer. Because of this she sees her life a gift from God, and she wanted to dedicate her life and singing to Him. She said she wants her singing to comfort people who are in pain, telling them “I see you- I’ve been there”. She has since then almost exclusively been singing at churches at home and abroad, at charity events, or events to honor other artist - meaningful events, and avoided taking part in the big music industry. She has been contacted many times by international managers who could help her getting famous here in the West (she is famous in Asia, despite her limited performances), but she has always refused. Now she is about 40 years old (she looks so much younger!) and the last few years she has been participating in South Korean music contests on TV. When she first started singing on these TV shows she was very conflicted if this was the right thing to do. But then she saw a woman in the audience crying while she was singing, and she realised that her calling was to reach out to everyone who is hurting, not just people in church. ❤️ She not only has an outstanding talent and the most beautiful voice, her singing touches people in a way that is hard to explain, a gift from above. She will only sing about something positive. She has been offered many times a big recording deal from many international record companies. She has refused them all & was very conflicted about doing these shows but when she saw a member in the audience crying she realized she can touch more people with her message thru music. She to this day does not care about being famous.

I think this is something that is public for everyone to read, I don't know how to direct message you. Yep, I'm ole school. I really don't care though, people can laugh or make jokes about me. I wanted to tell you that my basic, rudimentary research on SoHyang is pointing me to this conclusion. 100 years ago, that's what it seems like, my older sister was diagnosed with stage 4, incurable, metastatic breast cancer and months later, I got bad medical news as well. SoHyang did NOT have breast cancer. I made a choice to allow radical, elective surgery to stop cervical cancer. I CANNOT believe a gorgeous, talented woman like her couldn't be helped fight cancer. We both know if it was a man's disease, they'd have a cure.
