Indeed, you are sadly stating the incredible sadness about this performance... I am an American TV (sports) producer and I befriended Beau's father (and Beau's brother) and actually flew to Liverpool to meet the Dermotts to discuss Beau possibly coming to the US to perform... He was an absolutely perfect father and husband (and avid Everton fan). Beau is a sweetheart. And Ian Dermott was a remarkable man!

I am very much into the judges' reactions and feedback, as well as the performer's story. Well tonight I was reading the comments on Beau's audition… and found out her father passed away some time after that season of BGT. Oh my goodness. I have an 8 year old angel of a daughter and one of the saddest things I can think of in my mind is when her daddy leaves this world. My heart goes out to that whole family.
