To those who have a misplaced idea of NOT picking Miriam because she is less popular than others, and think their vote will go to waste: Don't forget we have a mandate and ultimate moral obligation too to scrutinize and elect the right one. This is definitely not a fly-by-night event popularity contest. Our future hinges on the right candidate, believe me. Miriam definitely can. I can see the Philippines' next leadership need a lot of prayers. On the same token, we need to be critical of how we cast our vote. Avoid being too fixated to someone out of frustration. I will vote for MDS-BBM. I know Miriam will not win because it is a numbers game but I will vote for someone who knows the law inside and out and who tries to be impartial when judging cases. With BBM, I like his track record with Ilocos and the bills he authored. I am not a Marcos loyalist nor a yellow follower. Sadly, I even voted for Cory before, but I learned my lesson the hard way. Di na ako maniniwala sa mga promises promises. Titingnan ko kung ano ang nagawa ng tao. Huwag ibato kay BBM ang martial law dahil hindi sya ang nagpababa nito. MDS nanggaling ang paliwanag given the fact na isa sya sa candidate for President and the issue they are tackling with is about her co-candidate. Grace Poe should be allowed to run as president. In this interview, Mirriam said the requirements for President, vice president and senators are the same. Grace Poe is currently a senator and none (Supreme Court and Comelec) seemed to have disqualified her for being senator. Why would they disqualify her this time? I've seen her performed in the SAF 44 inquiry and she is very good..calm, organized and firm. At 2:51 in this interview, Mirriam seemed to avoid to answer directly when the hosts ponder further that Grace Poe did not do anything to become a naturalized born citizen. Instead, she's chosen to say that Grace Poe is a dual citizen which is past. She knew being her competitor, it will be to her advantage to say it :). Maybe Grace Poe is not as spectacular and constitutionaly genius as she is, but she (Grace Poe) seemed to have a way of her own to achieving her goals. Mirriam in this interview revealed she does not watch Filipino movies and yet proclaims International Law should not apply to the Philippines, a contrasting point of view! What would the Filipino artists, producers and movie goers say to this?
