The color looks good, but if you want to de emphasize the upper lip, you can use a lighter shade of the same color. Maybe that will be of help. Stick to a color closer to your natural lip color, which really needs little color.

I subscribed to your channel. Thanks for making this video. I feel like I’m pretty decent at putting on makeup I do other people’s makeup all the time. I have no problem doing their lipstick 💄 however when it comes to mine (not so much) ......LOL....I don’t know what I do wrong on mine. I have a stigmatism in both eyes the left is worse than the right. So I may not be able to see my lips well enough to get it even on both sides
