This is pretty cool and I really think it's well done but if you like this kind of stuff you should check out model railroading! It's this but next level. I wish I could get super into this stuff, especially the model railroad layouts, but it's just out of my league money wise. I do like looking at them though! Anyways, well done Miriam!

This is the best display I have ever seen, well planned and very realistic. All pieces are strategically placed, the amount of houses are just right and the landscape, trails, train placement, even the activities of the villagers are arranged in such a way that it is not too busy. Breathtakingly beautiful.You must have been collecting these houses and figures since you were a child there are so many.Thank you also this gave me many happy childhood memories shopping with my parents who are no longer here .Years and years ago before Christmas became so commercial..Shops had wonderful displays similar to this..I remember while Mum was shopping Dad would take us to see the displays ..They were magical as was Christmas then.No computers just toys you interacted with and created games with.Kids don’t know what imagination is and expect so much now ..Thank you anyway .This is just amazing a Real Old Fashioned Christmas..I am in the U.K. and old enough to be your Grandmother 🥰

You are so sweet Christine, thank you!! I actually just started collecting 5 years ago. I was able to purchase most of my pieces at an extreme discount. I agree about Christmas. It is very commercialized and everything so high tech. We celebrate Christmas in a more traditional way. Every year starting the day after thanksgiving, we go for walks almost every night and look at all the lights. We focus more on family activities, baking cookies, games, singing Christmas songs together, etc. My kids only get 3 gifts for Christmas every year. My husband and I started this rule since they were babies. I don’t want them to get caught up in gifts and loose sight of the true meaning of Christmas. Since they have never know anything different, this is all they expect. This season is very special in my home. ☺️

I understand why you would not wish to do it anymore I'm sorry for your loss. But the way I see christmas villages is very rewarding with mine I actually have friends and extended family come over just to see my village and I write out quizzes like can you find this or that. It brings joy to a great many of my friends and loved ones I remember last year we had a couple come over and it was very touching because they said one of the pieces I had reminded them of their son who they lost to cancer. You never who you may touch when you do it. That's just what I do anyway I'm not saying you should start doing it again I'm just saying for me personally I find that it actually ends up helping people and since you're dealing with grief it might would help you yourself. Just a thought thou; I pray that you would recover from this loss I can't imagine losing either of my parents I'm sure it is most difficult for you 🙏

We builds things and just simply discuss our plans for each of our villages. I know I would miss my mother too while putting together villages, it is something special we share together. Reading your words makes the time I have to do this with her even more special. I will cherish the time I have remaining with her. I been doing Christmas scenes for more than 30 years and your creativity and talents are awesome. I have used ideas and theme/placement from watching your presentations. My family (especially grandkids) not only enjoy it, but love the stories behind the presentation. i got them involved in creating it this year and it was a wonderful experience. This is breathtakingly gorgeous. The animation, the dimension of the levels, the realistic scenes, all display your talent! The train circling was just such a bonus. Many times I have watched other Christmas Village tutorials and I have become bored because the presentation wasn’t interesting. However, yours are not only interesting but helpful and beautiful. It’s a beautiful village, with many different elements, making it feel like a beautiful place to live. I just got a little confused by looking at your decorating, and the village I’m assuming it’s winter time due to the skiing in the snow everywhere, but I was confused with the trees in the bushes with flowers blooming and leaves on the trees and greenery with no snow on it, it was just a little confusing for the season. It is a very vibrant village.

Hey Lori, you would have to be a Phoenician to get it completely.😂. My village is a depiction of where I live. Where I am from, the leaves, trees, and flowers stay colorful all year round. But just north of where I live, there is a ski mountain. It’s really the only place that gets good snow. My village this year is like my hometown. The ski mountain area I made represents Flagstaff, AZ and the rest of the village is the Phoenix area.

Thank you so much! The kitchen island would be such a great place for the village. Islands are the focal point for many homes and where most families congregate. I think it is a great spot for the village. Your family and friends would get so much enjoyment out of it. If I may give this tip, I would put the entire village on a foam board. That way, you can take a hot knife and carve tunnels to hide the cords. Or you can use floral pins to hold the cords in place. Then surround the entire village with a border of snow so you can hide the power strip. Just a suggestion. ☺️. Let me know how it turns out.

Hey Rebecca, Thanks so much for the compliment!! I am so glad the videos help! 😄. Are you referring to the round hedges in the neighborhood? If so, I got that bag from the dollar tree. They were actually round moss balls but I arranged them as hedges. The fencing is called ski racing net from Lemax. Hey Rebecca, I know which ones you are talking about now!! Those are dept 56 hedges. I ordered them from amazon. The hedges come in a set of 3 for about 15 dollars. They come straight but you can shape them however you like. I just added the wreaths to the ends of them with hot glue.
