Miriki learns Yidinji

Back in 2014, Miriki (formerly Biddigal) performers were excited to learn the cultural dances of yidinji.
Learning from Uncle David who is a Yidinji songman, dancer and teacher.
We worked with Uncle David for 6 months. In that time we were fortunate enough to dance alongside them at the following events:
Nintiringanyi Open Day
Cairns Naidoc
Cairns Indigenous Art Fair
Cairns Festival - Biddigal Dreaming production.
