MIROTEKNIK Mitsubishi Eclipse RS - Straight Pipe

Tried a straight-pipe from the catalytic-back. 2.5" to a 4" tip, no muffler. Low-end is great, high rpm is too loud and ricey.

That is not a can, it’s a simple 4” chrome tip that I had welded on the pipe. I ordered the tip on eBay.

most likely only sounds good at idle, prbly a fart can at anything above 3k rpms

I just bought an eclipse project car and I have everything built up in it I have the stock system in . If I want to straight pipe it do I get the headers and the piping all the way straight? Or in some places it will have a turn?

Ivan Ramirez I suggest you buy an exhaust that is already done. Yes there are bends. Straight pipe only means that there is no muffler.

Yes, it's the 420 Dodge Neon motor. They don't make a 4g63 RS Eclipse.

What do you want to know? The engine is a 2.0L 4cyl. Completely stock. Straight pipe from catalytic converter, all the way back. No muffler.
