Mirror Lake Loop Trail ~ Yosemite National Park

Starting at the Ahwahnee Hotel, we take the Valley Loop Trail and head over to Mirror Lake. From Mirror Lake, we continue on to Snow Creek to make the loop back on the other side of the trail.
It's about 6 miles total round trip, with very little elevation change. Beautiful views of half dome dominate on this trail.

Wow at :40 second mark those natural rock steps looked like the were manmade (of woman), the falls were awesome could watch that water fall all day , beautiful walk through all the large boulders , wow the water was so clear it's transparent even magnifies the bottom features it seems. Can see how mirror lake got it's name. Always like doing hiking loops to take in more scenery , that was a very scenic hike thanks for taking us along

Hi DL! As you were walking on the large stepping stones I was thinking -how does she do that and film at the same time! Beautiful waterfall and river with all the rocks. The reflections are Amazing on the lake. The trail looks beautiful - makes you appreciate all the maintenance they do in these parks. I started to watch this last night, then Bert came on live, so wasn't able to finish it. I think this was one of my favorites so far. Tfs!

Barby, if you saw some of my first videos, there was so much motion I have a hard time watching them 😆 I have learned how to stop, access and the proceed with walking holding the stick as still as I can. I am so glad you liked this one. It was a beautiful trail, and I really wanted to highlight it well. Thank you so much 😃

Yes you did a great job. Hey I wanted to let you know that I’m not able to attend Bert’s and your Live tomorrow 🥲 my son is a construction teacher and he and the Agriculture dept have a dinner auction tomorrow night. He bought us tickets …We have to leave at 4. If I can I’ll hop on right before we leave and say hi. But I was bummed when I realized the date/times conflicted.
