Mirror's Edge Catalyst - 3 Stars in Every Dash (All Dashes) - Peak Performer Trophy / Achievement

There are 22 Dashes (Races) in Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Getting 3 stars in every Dash unlocks the "Peak Performer" trophy / achievement.
To get a 3 star rating you must complete the course very quickly. They are all time-based. The quicker you are, the more stars you get (3 stars being the highest rating).
They are freerunning exercises in which you must reach a certain target area. None of them have enemies. You unlock more dashes by playing through the story.
Tips:
- Beat the story first and unlock all movement upgrades and magrope skills.
- Always start with a shift to gain speed.
- You must use shortcuts (follow the routes from the video. Following the red arrows will almost never get you 3 stars. If you know the exact target area (e.g. by beating the dash once) you can also mark it on your map, then it will show you the quickest way there (shortcut).
- Use skill roll on big drops only. Use coil to jump over small objects without touching them (should be used wherever possible, practice this move a lot).
- Running, Shifting and Jumping all have the same speed. You can't save time by shifting all the time, it won't make you go faster. Running is the fastest way to move around.
- When you fall off a rooftop you should restart the dash right away.

It can be done. I ended up getting the platinum a day or so after making that comment. Just keep trying and work on those double wall jumps. You need to make those jumps and grabs absolutely seemless or it simply will not happen.

If they make a sequel (and I HOPE they do make a sequel) I pray to the gods that they finally learn their lesson and not design side missions like this. Trial-and-error is not only frustrating in any game, it's especially egregious in one whose entire gameplay revolves around sustained momentum.

It's a great example in counter intuitive design. If you want to encourage open world exploration and letting people run their own way, then you cant have the strictest of narrow paths that you won't succeed if you're a iota off. I can't believe they actually made the game like this.

It should be said that the dashes are all about finding the perfect route usually one other than the route highlighted in red. These parts of the game have made it annoying and so time consuming they're just not worth it.

I have done all 3 stars except Nomads Run... I dont think i ever can beat this time and i wonder what im doing wrong. I knew the seconds after writing a comment i will manage to beat the required time. 18:96 ufff. I did the walljump to "grappling hook" at the end and it worked like a charm. Great guide as always! This plat trophy was really difficult. Rating it 5/10 by some trophy guide site seems like a bad joke for me.

I know this has nothing to do with the Dashes but it's your most popular video on Mirror's Edge Catalyst (MEC) and I was hoping you (or someone else) can help me with a question I have. I'm fairly new to the PS4 and I've been playing MEC since I bought the console and I'm currently trying to get every trophy. So my question is, in order to get the "User Generated Finisher " and "You Can't Keep Me Down" trophies, do I need to have PlayStation Plus or an EA Account? My research keeps telling me to check out my map for flags and so on but none of that appears on my map, which leads me to believe that I may need to have either PlayStation Plus or an EA Account in order to be able to get those trophies. P.S Those Dashes drive me crazy, yet it's so satisfying when I get three stars.

Thanks. But i made it by choosing a different way. I went to the left and jump on some yellow boxes on the ground cuz i'm pretty sure you would die falling directly on ground from that altitude.

He should've explained that. You need to jump on the fence, instead of past it. If you jump past it you'll either catch it and hang there which wastes too much time, or die.

Somewhat actually. I pressed it often while running and it does give a boost. I did one run without pressing it once and was off by 5 seconds, and in this game that's fuckin long. Real frustration kicks in when you're doing everything right and you're still off by a milisecond, this is why many don't bother platinuming it. It's at a fucking rare elite % that have it too. The studio should honestly aware those that got it with something it's quite an achievement!
