I didn't even know there was a mapping community for mirror's edge. Are these all assets ripped from the game?

Yeah, you can also add assets from other games too or your own assets. The editor based on Unreal Engine 3. You can also join Mirror's Edge Modding discord server: discord.gg/QmFZgyH23U
