I also get requested for 60fps on my videos but I really think it takes the cinematic feel out of the video! however 60fps worked well in this video since it's replicating a video game, but if it comes down to it I would say stick with 24 or 30fps cause it makes it more cinematic! Just my 2 cents :)

This is one of the few parkour videos in which the runner does NOT do those unnecessary backflips, air-rolls and such, THIS is what you do when you need to run away from security or whatever the reason is, to escape fast enough. This time I didn't have to count the times when security caughts the runner. Well done, devinsupertramp, you got a sub.

***** That's weird, usually mouth mounts don't shake. I wrapped 3 mouth guards around mine and now it's adjusted to my teeth and it doesn't shake at all, I suggest doing that

Aw man...When I saw Mirror's Edge in the title I was looking forward to some badass girl parkour. I love the other video game parkour vids, but was kinda disappointed to see yet another guy parkour video...especially since we have so few female protags in games to begin with :(

+AdventureWithArielle Cinema is 23.976. if you look at your hand moving it back and forth in front of your face, you will see a bit of motion blur as it's moving. but if you record your hand at 60FBS and play it back, you won't see any motion blur. 23.976 aka 24fps is most natural to our eyes and most cinematic. Peter Jackson tried to shoot the Hobbit in 48FPS but no one liked it and no one thought it was natural. I watched Devin's BTS and now I understand a little why he is trying to use 60 but, to me, it just doesn't seem to feel right.

+ThreeSixteen Films I mean motion blur really isn't related to frame rates its more related to your shutter speed or shutter angle. Usually rule of thumb is to have that double your frame rate and you will get realistic motion blur for the speed you are filming at its just the super smooth motion of it does kinda take it away from the cinema aspect of things

Arrrgh nooo! This video would be a great one, but don't associate it with Mirror's Edge. Mirror's Edge was all about the immersion. The build-up in running speed. The wind moving past your ears. The WHAM of opening a door. This sense of ever-increasing push, accelerate, GO! This video is just not that.
