Well let's see i am not saying the law completely wrong it's just need to be gender neutral and practical specially in family related. Like i agree maintainance. If the wife or husband is not educated and completed depend on the other spouse then they should get a maintainance but that should be fir survival not for luxury and should be limited to number of years untill she gets ready to earn i mean by education and skill learning. Then comes alimony. That' should not include luxury factor. Yiu marry for love or money. Alimony should be name as compensation for if any spouse endure mental and physical harm by other spouse so that should be compensation. That's it. The current law is biased and unrealistic when comes maintainance and alimony. And yeah child custody should be joint like few months with one spouse and then few months with other. If child is young then should given counselling in particular interval of time to check if any of spouses not teaching the child to hate any of their parents or wrong thing. This when both parties are innocent not like one is very abusive or bad for child

We spend on marriage 15 lakhs They spent 8 lakhs Demand 50 lakhs for just staying 20 days after she filed FIR No harassment nothing as a girl e had a boyfriend After 2 years we settled 8 lakhs and cases was quashed and now she is happily married to boyfriend after our divorce. By statute of this section, death of a woman in unnatural circumstances within 7 years of marriage is considered as "Dowry Death"... Lower Court turned it down... Delhi HC did the same thing and then SC last year ( 2024) also turned it down by saying that, it has been long time, let's not drag this case.. 4) Sec 482 - Quashing petition is a joke in India... How many cases are filed and quashed in HC? HC eventually slaps it down to lower court and says to face trial... Of course, the pressure of "foreign funded" women NGOs and the size of "Settlement Industry" where not only the girl and family but everyone associated with Judiciary has due share of the pie... 5) Forget SC ( which anyways doesn't even admit 95% of petitions filed) , Hw many people hv the means to approach the HC? Can Ms. Abha Singh tell us what is her "consultation charges" and the "appearance fees" per hearing? And you mentioned--I'm quoting you " that if women files false case then the man can file perjury"... .. Hw can you file Perjury before the case is proved false that will tk at least 10-12 years.... Second, Perjury is initiated by Court and not by an individual... Hope you haven't forgotten the "legal nuance" here in the excitement of pushing the "agenda".... *This is not against man or women* We want Law Against willfull missuse of law. Law should be like - Judges must take self cognizance agaist the complaints when its clear that the case is filed for extortion. The punishment must be harsher then what the complainant wished for the accused. This way the number of cases in the courts will reduced too.. If government don't pass this law very soon, I will vote for an independent candidate in the very next election, to show my protest. No BJP no Congress, an independent candidate.

Very sad to say ..as men feeling bad now a days women's don't have common sense..15y marriage life my wife came from very BPL where parents he unable to pay college fee.. due to free education engineering completed good 2L SALARIES money.. spending 🎉 after 10y she is becoming mad due to no savings.. due to credit cards, and personal loan not for asset..10y 10Jobs changed 10 Mobile sets which is 1L each..daily out side food no need to cook at home .2 maids working ..in 4y back I lost my Job which is unorganized not get good sav3 ..now no money to school fee kids life have problem.. How many people will have resources to reach HIGHER courts? Remember India is still a poor country. By the by, many of quash petitions would be rejected in high courts as well as supreme court. It's reality. They quash once in a while and give big statements. It's part of their strategy. Judiciary stance is the process itself punishment.
