First of all don't compare Tamil films with Hollywood movies bro... They are way too ahead from us... In movie technology wise.... there are 1000000 Zombie movies and other scifi movies in Hollywood. Not this year... Even in back 2000s also.. titanic, terminator and artifial intelligence, came back in 1990s time... Then imagine their level of movies and Tamil level of movies... No comparison with Hollywood at all

I do not know about Zombie & Zombie movies. First time I watched similar kind of Tamil movie. The movie is really entertaining. Director and entire movie Team has done lots and lots of hard work. Amazing action & stunts really thrills the audience. This movie reviewer simply rubbishes thousands of people hard work and creativity. I watched Matinee show of this movie in Bangalore in an ordinary Theater today (Sunday), the theater was almost house full. This movie also has Love & Sentiments. For, those who have watched lakh of zombie Hollywood movies, this movie may not be entertaining. But, those who watch this movie first time in India in their regional language, this movie definitely a real entertainment and thriller. Audience may consider watching this movie in theater.

To Tamil Talkies: Unga Arivuku alavae illaya? Ennatha padam paathingalo... did you notice lashmi menon will say that "the poison will start acting based on your anti-bodies capacity".. That's why the kid did not get affected immediately even though the bite intensity was high. Similarly, the affected doctor withstood for long time because the bite was very lite.. So, this english movie's "12 second concept" will not applicable here and not required to be kept in this movie..

I know this wasn't good but comparing it to World War Z is quite silly cuz World War Z itself received mixed to negative reviews. You could've used 28 Days Later or Dawn of the Dead for examples because those two are the true classics in zombie films. And who could forget Night of the Living Dead in 1968? Bro you didn't even mention these movies when talking about it. Did you do reasearch as always or just talked in front of the camera after the movie? You always give some background info about the films before reviewing. Thats one of the reason your reviews are actually good. Next time, please remember tod do background info more detailed.

28 weeks later is a trendsetter in zombie flicks..that was the first movie to show zombie run..but it's high budget bro..they made sets of one third of London..maybe Tamil talkies took a wrong example of comparing it very high budget world war z..but the points mentioned by Tamil talkies re worthy enough.. it's about plot, intelligence, crystal maze run arounds...zombie flicks can be made in medium budget in a small tpwm, village.. all that required is directors intellectual capabilities...this dumb director is inspired by Hollywood DVD s or the movies played in satyam cinemas...he doesn't know the art of film making... sets and makeup alone will not suffice...kind advise to movie buffs...boycott such cheap marketing craps...cheers dudes...

+Subbu Vasudevan don't forget the great TV series called walking dead, it was not that high budget product compared to Hollywood flicks, but it has a brilliant story line, where writers had used zombies just as a metaphor for plot development, even though it's a remake of comic book,but it's well adapted for the small screen, i am not comparing or anything but films like these shows not only we lack serious writers,we can't even come near to American television, at least in story development.

Hey tamil talkies, am not gonna scold so please reply what you think the 500 cars in the traffic are all green screen shot scenes. World war Z wasn't exactly the best zombie movie out there. There are so many 'masala hero' elements to it. I think tamil cinema can make wonderful zombie movies especially with the way our city is built. We have both modern buildings and huts in slum areas. So surviving can be shown with much more thrill since it wont be easy. Other than that, i agree that Miruthan failed to be a proper zombie movie cos of it's inconsistencies. Jeyam ravi being too 'machoistic cliche hero' . A love interest. songs. less logic in a zombie movie (lol)

You're missing the point. Zombies are generic, the tale lies in character and conflict that makes the viewer think, such as the scene where there's a dispute about whether or not to shoot zombies, etc.
