Hello foodies.Welcome to veg food manual.Today let us learn a very authentic and traditional Maharashtra's street food recipe "Misal Pav".ಮಿಸಳ್ ಪಾವ್.Wholesome sprouted grains are cooked with tangy tomatoes & onions ,and finally dipped in rassa or kat and thereby garnishing it with loads of farsan.This best part of this recipe is that it can be had as a breakfast,lunch,snack or dinner.Like vadapav this is also Mahrashtra's one of the popular street foods.

INGREDIENTS:
GHODA MASALA
2 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
2 Star Anise/Chakra phool
2 Stone Flower/Daggad phool
1 tspFennel Seeds/Saunf
1 inch cinammon/dalchini
1 tbsp sesame seeds/til
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp cumin seeds/jeera
1/2 tsp poppy seeds/khuskhus
2 cardamom/elaichi
8 cloves/laung
1/2 cup dry coconut pieces
8-10 dry red chilli
10 garlic cloves
1 inch garlic
2 tsp red chilli powder
MATKI BHAJI
1 cup sprouted moth bean
1 cupsprouted green lentil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
7 cups water
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds/rai
1/2 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
1/2 tsp asofoetida/hing
1/2 tsp turmeric powder/haldi
curry leaves
2 onions chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
salt as per taste
cooked sprouts
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tsp ghoda masala
RASSA
5-6 tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds/rai
1/2 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
1/2 tsp asofoetida/hing
1/2 tsp turmeric powder/haldi
curry leaves
7 cups of drained water from cooker
salt as per taste
2 tbsp coriander leaves
POTATO BHAJI
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds/rai
1/2 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
1/2 tsp asofoetida/hing
1/2 tsp turmeric powder/haldi
curry leaves
2 POTATOES BOILED
salt as per taste
coriander leaves
