Thx mate. Was certainly about as far as you can push one and I've got to admit that a bit of wee came out when the back end started to float away. Thought I was going down the creek for a few seconds. The other vehicles decided to give it a miss after watching me go through the first time, hence me having to turn around and go back through it again. Bloody great fun though and glad I had a go ;-)

Terrific video gents, those conditions were gnarly! Its great to watch the wheel articulation of your rigs from 6:05 onwards and how each car behaves. I recognised Old Mill Rd in the first couple of minutes of the video. Its deteriorated so much in the past 6-months. There's actually video of myself and and a mate driving through those exact same creek crossings in bog stock Subaru Outbacks. No way in hell we could do that now, haha! Keep up the good work!

Took about about 1/2 inch of water in the cabin which also flooded the wiring that runs along the channels inside the edge of the cabin but no problems with the electrics fortunately. They are a pain to dry out though as you need to remove the centre console to get the fron carpets out. Silly design for an offroader really but I suppose they don't think a lot of people will be doing this in them ;-)

The track is possible all year round but the lower flooded section is actually only a trickle except in stormy weather such as this. The trail is call Crick Creek Fire Trail and is located in the Watagan National Park.

@izitwinteryet the really deep creek at the end is usually only a stream that turns into that gushing flood in heavy rain. It is at the very base of Rope Road that runs from Watagan Forest Road down into the Congewai Valley. It's a great track in wet weather but a little tame in the dry. I was already scared about the Disco's electrics being a petrol but I take Betty was the only one to take on "the big one"?

Yes she was Mark. What you don't see in the video was that the traction control had a hissy fit as she started to float and the motor stalled. Restarted within 3 seconds and luckily kept going before she could suck any water in.
