I agree these are the kind of races I prefer. I am sorry that the championship, like all the others, has stopped. I hope to see a competition later this year. Here there is emotion and passion, two things that in F1 and DTM have been wholly lost.

in europe it has more resources, but you need to see the racing of brazilian trucks, drum brakes, street tires, engines in the front even, gearbox in H and engines in the 1200 hp with a weight of up to 4 tons

Metal Brake Discs ? The brake fade must be horrible ! Is using Carbon Pads and Discs still cost prohibitive ? 😕

It's probably forbidden by the regulation to use carbon brakes. But I can tell you that the steel brake discs are enormous and from the races I've seen there are no significant problems. It could still be interesting if there were some fading because thinking about safeguarding the braking system is an additional variable that the pilot must consider. Brake management is also an essential part of racing 😉

@@Italiansupercarvideo I observed a gauge/instrument in a cabin shot that said Disk Temperature, then I saw the metal rotors and being a high performance vehicle I seriously thought "Why no carbon on something fast and so heavy ?". Yeah, probably regulations. 👎💩

@@GIGABACHI It is probably by regulation. Organizers certainly wanted to limit costs; I think carbon discs could be very expensive.
