I think the one thing I appreciate the most about your content, your style and your process is that you're never afraid to get messy. Messy builds, messy paint jobs, messy molds and castings. And more recently, messy finishes. Life is messy, and this hobby is certainly messy in many different ways. But I want you to know that I see all this mess and it makes me feel better about my own messes. I know your friends dont hold the mess against you and are just happy to see you expressing yourself and enjoying your hobby and your life. Projects don't have to end neatly, or at all even. And whatever mess happens along the way, it doesnt matter all that much as long as you keep moving and keep caring.

I feel like there's this tendency of you basically growing more and more unhinged and MAD over the course of the last, I don't know, five to ten videos or so, and I love seeing that, especially with that moment where Rachel is clearly ALL IN on this dynamic and just tears apart the old terrain piece being like "I assume this is what you wanted?" Trent, a bloody brilliant video. I had to pause it a couple of times to have a good cry. What you said about the hectic goblin moments being some of the best in a hobby struck all the cords. Some of my fondest hobby memories are hanging out with a mate, trying for hours to hack janky rpgs into something playable/a style of game that was never intended, all while drinking and smoking way too much. That table felt a lot like those game designs. Utter chaos, but in the best way possible

You remind me of an old friend i lost touch with. Same name too. He was art in human form, manifesting through his musical ability mainly. Both of us worked together on amazing things. We didn't even share them with the world. That wasn't the point. I switched that side of my life off, chasing silly careers and neglecting creativity because money bit at my ankles. You are one of the people who have renewed it. I paint often, I'm now sculpting and 3D printing and immersing myself in art as much as I possibly can because it's more important to enjoy and create. I don't know how to share my creations yet, but I hope one day I'll be as open as you. I'll stop rambling. Thank you for everything you do. It changed my life.

I was watching this and started thinking ' he's like a Hobbit that lives in a junkyard' but in the best possible way (think Junkyard Wars meets the Shire). Later on you likened yourself to a goblin and I thought I needed to re-evaluate my earlier idea: 'is a junkyard Hobbit a goblin actually?' and I have to say the idea of Junkyard Wars meets the Shire is what I'll be thinking of this channel as from now on (despite any goblin like tendencies).

the initial stages reminded me of the Eismeer by Caspar David Friedrich. One of my favorite paintings, kinda echoes the nostalgia relayed in this video, I definitely relate with the "kinda jank but memorable" type of sentiment... I didn't even know Luke had called it quits, very wistful realization, hope he'll make some more off the record memories, away from the din of KZbin obligations. also, can't believe you almost forgot to add cork... oh, and also also, "I feel like some sort of Poltergeist" really cut me to my core, and I feel deeply attacked personally...
