Misery Loves Company - Episode 1 [UNDERTALE AU SANS SERIES]

Finally! Episode 1 is here!
The start of my dumb animated fanfiction has arrived!
Now I have most of the story planned, but episode 2 will be significantly longer than this one and will take a while to come out.(Hell, the first scene I timed out came to 3 minutes. And that's just the first part!)

Yeah something I always thought was kind of interesting how about that was. Killer was one of the only people he could talk to normally. Although Canon nightmare may not be able to feel remorse or grief. Before he hired killer. Any consciousness with higher level of thought even though he likes being feared by everyone probably at least get tired of constantly having nothing new happen. I'm just saying being able to talk to killer normally was probably a breath of fresh air.

Something that I didn't notice before I posted my original comment, so I'm going to say something about that now. Nightmare's star-shaped pupil could be a reference to his brother Dream's own little friend group, the Star Sanses, but it was a very nice detail regardless! 🥲🧐🤩

Insanity Sans? No he won't show up, I have no reason for him to be there

Insanity!Sans is a part of the Murder Time Trio along with Horror!Sans, Murder!Sans (Dust), and Killer!Sans, correct? I believe that the Murder Time Trio was inspired by Rahafwabas' group, Nightmare's Gang, which did not feature Insanity!Sans. Nightmare's Gang is often mistaken for the Murder Time Trio because they consist of some of the same characters. However, I believe that the Murder Time Trio has a completely different origin story to Nightmare's Gang. The story presented by this animation is closer to Nightmare's Gang's origin story, therefore Insanity!Sans may not be left out for the reasons that you may think. They could have chosen to ignore him because he is not a part of Nightmare's Gang. However, I don't think that there is any evidence that Error!Sans (Error), Fellswap Sans (Wine), or XSans (Cross) will join Nightmare's gang in any future episodes, so perhaps they are making their own version, which may include Insanity!Sans? Wow, I just debunked my entire arguement as to whether or not Insanity!Sans will join Nightmare's gang in any future episodes... Of course, I chose to reply anyways, because I want to know if I got anything wrong. I would like to learn as much as possible about the history of these characters together. TL;DR, Insanity is a part of the Murder Time Trio (the MTT). The MTT is not the same thing as Nightmare's Gang (NG). NG came first, I think, so this animation is probably based on NG, which doesn't feature Insanity at all. However, there is no sign of Error, Wine, or Cross, so this may be a new version of NG, which could add Insanity to the gang. Nightmare's Gang is also known as "the Bad Sanses" and a few other things. It consists of Murder!Sans (Dust), Killer!Sans, Horror!Sans, Error!Sans (Error), Swapfell Sans (Wine), and XSans (Cross). The Murder Time Trio consists of Horror!Sans, Murder!Sans (Dust), Killer!Sans, and Insanity!Sans. why did it take me so long to write this.

As for the other characters, I'm not interested in a story with Fellswap, Error has his own things, and I don't think I'll put Cross but we'll see

Even though a lot of people like to intepret the Bad Sanses gang as a found family type of deal (I'm not saying that this is a bad thing), they must have started out really roughly, considering their differences. Dust kills monsters cause he believes that it is the only way to gain the upper hand against the human. Killer joined the human in their murder spree. Horror never even went on a genocide against his own people. I'm excited to see how this series goes.

as soon as i saw "episode 1" i subscribed and turned on my notifications lol (i love series like this, but all i ask is that you try your best to actually finish it, i have read about 17 comics of undertale etc, only 2 actually finished it, but to finish it i had to search for like an hour to find the last pages) MOTIVATION: this series is so frickin sick, honestly my 2nd favorite right now, i cant wait for episode 2, you take your time and be as slow as you need to be, ignore the people who rush you and i cant wait to see how this series turns out to be! (also i believe your the ONLY one who is doing this type of thing, showing the process of how/when nightmare gets them! its super cool and i wish you the very best!) last thing: the way nightmare and killer talked to eachother is amazing, usually their at eachothers throats! i LOVE IT. (im staying locked into this series, plus its motivating me to actually do stuff :3 ) EDIT: i forgot to say!!! if you ever need ideas i think you can post a video asking for ideas and look in comments to pick out the ones that motivate you to do so! (im saying this because the main reason why most the comics and stuff i watch/read never finished is because no ideas)

@ImOnlySoso I appreciate the comment but please don't shame anyone who doesn't finish their series. I'm writing, animating, and editing this all on my own for free. If I get overworked I will stop the series if it's doing more harm to me than good. Art takes a LOT out of us artists and sometimes it's not worth to continue it especially when most of us don't make money from this. I animate anywhere from 5-12 hours a day that is exhausting and I still barely get anything done in a week. Please don't shame any artists for not finishing their works, making our art can put us under a lot of emotional, physical, and financial stress Please consider that

This is pretty good so far and I read some of the comments about Insanity and I understand why you don't want Insanity in your story because it's nearly impossible for Insanity to work for someone let alone not just kill everyone he sees. 10/10 so far and better story than GT (Sorry not sorry for any GT fans reading this).

@Catsarelazykings It's not an issue about how I'd need to write Insanity, it's more than there's no reason for him to be here and I don't want it to be too overcrowded. I already know which characters I'm going to use, I'm not going to add any more no matter how popular or how much I wanna animate them. Though I might have some cameos and I can definitely see a part of the script where I can sneak a quick second of Insanity sans to acknowledge his existence. But thank you really, and tbh it's not hard to be better than Glitchtale
