@@misfittoys8883 good morning Ron 🌞 I've seen you do some amazing work with a whole lot less truck, that's square body is actually worth quite a bit of money, it would be well worth putting a little more work and effort into it. I know it's your buddies truck and it's up to him. You guys have a safe trip, looking forward to seeing what gold you find at the swap meet 👍✌️🇺🇲

@@misfittoys8883 they aren’t really rare but they are desirable. I had a 454 grille for my k-20 and I paid a lot for it. They make 400 grilles too but those are hard to find.

If a turn signal comes on but don`t blink and it`s dim it`s usually for me a ground issue. many times that signal in the dash will light up too when you don`t have your blinker on but I would Check your grounds to the light wiring and make sure they are good I bet that will be the issue.

I would have bought a tube of seal all and fixed the leaks and paint it with some rust paint and used that tank. I have fixed worst tanks then that and got years of use out of it before it leaking again and needing replaced. as long as the inside is clean the outside is easy to repair. If you want just fill the tank with water and solder the holes too but if it was me I would use Seal all that stuff works great and lasts a long time.

RE: plugs in the master cylinder. I’d bet those are 99% there to maintain internal cleanliness through shipping and handling, and then someone realized they *could* be used to bench bleed, and it was thusly added to the instructions.

That turn signal looks kinda dim. Maybe it's in backwards and the park light filament isn't drawing enough to open the bimetallic strip in the flasher? Also, if it was points before, I think you have to remove the ballast resistor so the HEI gets full voltage?
