Also, Jensen has said that he's become more used to the inner workings of fandom and that it's opened his eyes and given him new perspectives. In the past ten years he has grown immensely, I've only been in the fandom for four and yet it's very obvious. He's said and I quote "I've learned to let the love in". I think he talked about it at jibcon maybe, where he said that in the beginning it was easier to be closed off because it was so overwhelming. Now, he's very protective of us, of the #spnfamily . And I think that's beautiful.

I've been in this fandom for a only little more than 2 years (but I've watched basically every con video that I possibly could) and I agree SO MUCH with you! I remember him saying that (also not sure exactly at which con it was), and even if he didn't say that, it's still visible. If you try to compare any one of Jensen's panel from, like, 5 years ago, and the most recent ones, you can see how comfortable he got on stage over the years - it's like we're slowly starting to see how Jensen is actually like when he's at ease and just having fun with his friends (and if the panels don't make it so clear, his singing videos should do that!), it shows how well and relaxed he feels around fans now and yes, that's beautiful.

Here's the thing guys, Jensen gets a kick out of Destiel, he even once said he gets a kick out of WINCEST. JENSEN ACKLES SAID THAT I SWEAR ON MY LIFE. So, it's not the "gay" part Jen has a problem with, Jen is very accepting and loving, he's NOT Dean. My belief is that because Mish is like a brother to him it would be very difficult and uncomfortable to portray Destiel if it became canon. Please stop making Jensen out be someone he's not, from what I've seen in other panels the dude ain't a saint either. He can be JUST as crude as Mish, dick jokes galore and even talking about how Danneel sometimes likes it when he talks like Dean ;) There's a difference between being shy and being observant. I've noticed that about him because I'm the same way, we're in our heads a lot and we like to take everything in. But if we're around certain people or in a certain situation we become very extraverted because we feel comfortable in doing so. (c)
