As an adopted adult I really appreciate the vulnerability, forgiveness and openness of this song. I'm in my 30s now but as a student in my youth this captured an attitude I had and it still means a lot. I understand Mischa wasn't raised by her mother and in terms of my own relatability my birth mother was a vulnerable broken woman herself. I'm still grateful for my life. Thank you for this song x
