Rad car my friend, these things get stolen all the time here in Aus, else I'd probably have picked one up! People want them for the RB. I have the M35 250RS Stagea instead! @@rickyturner2742 Also Misha's first time driving the car and being pretty conservative because it's TF and not his car. The way the beamer overtook through Fuchsröhre didn't look like he had much of a safety cushion. Also tried to go around the outside of Kallenhart - an off-camber, tightening turn... Not gonna happen. He even got onto the grass and the curb you never want to touch. He was on it hard, Misha wasn't even revving it out all the way, let alone take risky lines.

Either the owner asked him to take it mostly easy, or Misha was afraid of the curves. He had the Beemer on the speed, but not the corners. It was pretty good for an old station wagon. I hope the guy fixes the suspension to handle curves better and brings her back.

Older Gran Turismo games that I got the chance to play with does seem to display the actual number. The 260RS has 281 hp and RS Four S has 279 hp. I always remember that number. I always use it every time I play GT, so I remember those numbers. The 260 RS weighs 1,720 kg; the RS Four S is around 1,680 give or take. And regarding the 280 PS, it was supposed to stop the horsepower war back in the day. The manufacturers decided to settle this themselves instead of letting the Ministry of Transportation set the number for them. This way, they could just bypass the 280 PS mark since they’re the ones who made that number. So, to make the gov’t happy, they “advertised” in ads, brochures etc. about 280, even though most ppl know it makes more than that. That’s just my thought, but I think it’s more reasonable than what most ppl think, that is by actually limiting the power of the car. It’s hard to do if the engine itself was supposed to be powerful and even if it’s true, 30-40 hp difference can be felt.

1:27 Car magazines knew in the '90s that the Skyline GT-Rs power ratings were made of sandbags and lies. Everybody knew the R34 GT-Rs rating of 280 PS was nonsense when the Skyline 2.5L single-turbo version was also rated 280 PS. The Gran Turismo game showed the R32 GT-R as having about 305hp, R33 GT-R had 320hp, and the R34 GT-R got up to 336. They were at least _close_ and may have had insider info from Nissan. If this Stagea had a couple of bolt-on mods, it would have made up for being "old" and ensured it kept over 300hp.
