Ah, since this was the very first lap with our pretty heavy camera setup, Adrian asked Nathan to stay outside to make sure it does not fall off. Few days later, Nige crashed the Pinderwagen with our camera in it and now we're sure it can handle anything😅

@@M3rVsT4H I promise you it doesn't (unless you have raced),the real thing is a whole different ball game. If you aren't used to lots of high speed traffic in close proximity,especially cars (all my laps have been on bikes) the first few laps are real eye openers ,in a good way.

@@ptlg138 Airbags are much too heavy for track cars and can degrade performance. Well-made rollcages can keep the cars structure from caving to the driver alongside fire suppression and harnesses, also most track cars in professional series use a HANS Device to keep the drivers head still during a high G crash which essentially acts like a airbag but is much lighter and simpler.

I had a e36 sedan too end of the 90‘ as an daily driver. Ist was an 320i with Koni, Remus DTM exhaust, M kit, 235/255 P Zeros. The rust killed the white paint und the metal underneath during the winterseasons here in Southbavaria 😢 Never experienced a more glued to the road car later on. Good times!

you can certainly see the difference between a car that is 50/50 or close to it, Vs a rear engine Porsche.. While the Porsche has the good in a straight line the E36 was much more nimble in the corners..... was a fun match up to watch.

Don’t know the rules of the book, but this BMW is still road legal !! What a nice and impressive built. This combination with the owner with proper skills and -even more important- a healthy attitude (not doing anything insane for the sub 7, allowing other to reach the target first, but one day …) deserves tons of respect. Tomorrow morning in rush hour traffic, the first 20 BMW’s are excused for their silly behavior. This guy with his talent, attitude and car setup is making it up. PS the 911 was mighty and I think the driver might get even more confidence in his without a doubt great car when he just tried to follow through the turns rather than getting passed the BMW and pulling away in the straights. Anyway, it lade a super video.

Hats off to the BMW! Amazing set up, fantastic sound, great driving. Seems the BMW needs the extra final gear. However, as much as exciting and astonishing the BMW is, the GT2 is in another level. With no "strict" racing lines, just a push in the right pedal and takes off easily.
