I was looking forward to this. Still just a sweet engine. Props to the owner for doing a lot to make it track capable - KW V3, H&R ARBs and Cup 2s are no joke. It's always tricky though to get a highly adjustable suspension just right for a certain car and track; probably if you had played around with it for a couple of hours and many laps you could have tightened the suspension down some more. Btw., lold at the suddenly super foggy windshield 😁
@99Lezard992 жыл бұрын
but it is still not track capable 😆
@tigris0101012 жыл бұрын
To be fair the kw kit is not rated for a C6 RS6. Something to do with weight loading. Lots about them on RS6 forums. The dynamic suspension works fine. H&R roll bars do help. Kw lowering springs can be fitted to stock suspension. As for being a track car, it's not ideal but you can still muscle it around a track. For its size it's better than credit is given. Not many family estates will crack 200+mph in comfort and can pace a lot of super cars. It was never built as a track car.

A new one cost abt. 50 EUR - and the replacement is probably the easiest thing on this car. Or the air filter may be full of crap - costs EUR 12 - the replacement can be tricky (one has to perform acrobatic maneuvres - and replacement is recommended when replacing the fan along with vacuuming all crap out of the bulkhead). Greetings from Latvia, nice seeing this behemoth on the ring. The guy should replace the brake fluid.

Yes that is the side wall of the street legal Michelin ??Pilot Sport?? tire. By the way = 220 mph (and more) at the nurburgring is only possible with high price special 100% race track cars. The engine power is able for 220 mph = 354 kmh but not the car weight and the chassis structure and the tire ! This is a street legal car because the dutch number plate. Ok it is absolute not street legal and if a police office pulls him ... (He can have for 2 or 3 weeks no Audi RS V10 sedan and the technical inspection ... I am sure = no Meter on a public roads until the car is street legal in germany ! He must use a trailer to get his car back) For a family car (with absolute some illegal modifications) it performs very well. This car is a straight line master but the corners are not its world. The biggest problem is not the mass itself - it's the weight distribution. The engine is way in front of the axle. For comparison: MB E63 AMG (S211) and BMW M5 (E61) have their engines over the axle, which is better for cornering situation. Anyway, I love this car and even the latest generation RS6 with better weight distribution and rear axle steering is not that tempting. The V10 engine and the sleeper looking are its best features.
