故事发生在北宋中期，奸商苏光平（李建义 饰）在利益的趋势之下决定同傲龙堡主人石无忌（戚迹 饰）联姻，石无忌挑选了身份卑微的庶出女子苏幻儿（赵丽颖 饰），然而苏幻儿的个性桀骜不驯，竟然斗胆逃婚，无奈之下，样貌和苏幻儿极为相似的杨意柳（赵丽颖 饰）代替苏幻儿嫁进了石家。在石家，杨意柳吃尽了苦头，受尽了折磨，然而，坚强善良的她并没有就此自暴自弃，而是靠着自己的努力，不断的感化着周围的人们。一场意外中，杨意柳救了四小姐石无暇（郑茜 饰），之后，又凭借着自己的聪明才智，化解了家庭内部的诸多矛盾，随着时间的推移，杨意柳和石无忌之间渐渐产生了真挚的夫妻之情，可是，就在此时，石无忌的知己马仙梅（杨梓墨 饰）出现在了两人面前，要求一个名分。

That "general" just "divorced his legal wife" then showed up on his own with a few cheap trinkets, no relatives, no matchmaker, and no birthdates or name characters or nothing. How ridiculous! Is that even a legal proposal? At least the Lengs have got some idea of what's proper and have got some social graces.

Such a lame storyline! The FL is already married to the ML. They already had the wedding ceremony, remember? She was waiting for her husband on their wedding night. It doesn’t make them “not married” regardless if they consummate the marriage or not. And the nerve of the 2nd brother trying to move in on his sister in law. The director is doing a poor job. He’s making good actors into mediocre actors. So many scenes are so unrealistic ! How can they be talking about delaying a wedding ceremony when it already happened????
