lookt like at 21:35 you have 3 leaks of coolat, front, left front, left side middle of the van. I know that u top it off early but that seems like alot of coolant leaks.. 22:54 about parking on the side of the road, aleast here in sweden u should move as far to the end of the parking place and not in the middle, now that was in finland and not sure what they have for traffic rules. Good video, fun to see more that enjoy the cold weather and snow around here.
@MispronouncedAdventures9 ай бұрын
It’s not as bad as it look coolant wise. the coolant drips from the pre heater under the passenger side. But mess is from the drain valve which leaks on the radiator, it’s unfortunate over the bumper, so it runs down the back of the bumper and catches on the lip. Depending how park it will run of the left or right have side if on an angle. It was more of a larger parking area than just a small lay-by. I do love the cold and snow

I wouldn't call getting to your storage behind the bike as 'easy' but it would be a pity to not use the space, but anything is preferable to needing to open the rear door at -35 outside in order to repair the heating system... 4G? Would be nice if they had a 5G model since that's getting common up here. Fuses. Biltema have 12V fuses with built-in LEDs that light up after it blows. Don't know how well they work, but I replaced all the fuses in my old car with them. Just haven't had time to do it with my current car.
@MispronouncedAdventures9 ай бұрын
It definitely looked a bit more awkward when doing it on camera because I was in the wrong direction as I was showing it to the camera but generally it’s pretty easy too, but that storage anyway is my term storage, not the stuff I need to access day to day. Indeed it would for 5G and I’m sure future models will. Biltema is definitely another great shop for all the bits and bobs you need or things I didn’t even know existed.

I’m looking forward to doing an adventure on it out here. thank you for liking my van building, I have previously done work for a UK company building vans for a bit. I didn’t underseal it before this trip, but it’s so cold. Tyres for the last 3 arctic winters I have used the BFgoodrich KO2 in size 225/75R16 115/112. Which I have had excellent performance in. Rescue kit wise, snow shovel, tow strap, chains and satellite comms if necessary. I would like a winch on the next van. But realistically many of the time others come off the road is go into the snowdrift ditches at the side and that usually requires external help, self rescue would be hard.
