Ohh the OGs!! Miss A played such a huge role in expanding kpop during the 2010's. I was only 14 when this came out, can't believe the songs gonna be 10 yo next year. I wish you guys would react to "Goodbye baby" or "Hush", these were two smaaaash hits in SKR, if dance challenges were a thing back then it'd have been annoying asf 💀. If you guys were around earlier you'd probably had caught the Suzy (main vocal with dark straight hair) fever as well, she was That IT girl! Thank you for the reaction as always

It's very polite. The message is nice, the song is sweet, they are trying to give a positive message to young girls without pissing off men. Considering how anti-feminist SK is, this is not surprising.

I think they had to make it more cheery without attitude bc korea is VERY anti feminist….if they weren’t light with it they probably would’ve gotten too much hate so they toned it down as much as possible ig

I'm a big Miss A fan, and I was glad to see you listening to them. Just two quick thoughts in response to Ace btw - a woman saying she doesn't need a man doesn't have to be a big statement that needs to have 'attitude'; I think it can just be a simple truth. Secondly, the stereotype of the independent woman with attitude is sort of an American thing. I'm Jamaican, and independent women are pretty easy to find here, but they definitely don't have the 'attitude' you're talking about. That is definitely a cultural difference.

I think it is cheery on purpose as well, so it's more of a chill mindset, doing their own thing. like yeah I don't need a man, and I'm doing fine by my own but I won't reject men as long as they have the right mindset and determination to be with me.

This reminded me more of DREAM. Remember that group at all? They were briefly popular around…2001? I think PDiddy signed them. (He probably doesn’t go by that anymore but that’s the last name I recall, my apologies.) And I personally enjoy it a lot. :)
