It will be smart of the pageant to focus on woke issues like 'sustainability', 'empowerment', 'world peace'. @@SpedUpSongs2007 unlike a lot of other pageants, they are not one company. they are a part of a HUGE conglomerate in Vietnam (think Samsung in Korea for example). they clearly have the money (as they even tried to buy the whole MUO). budget is not a problem for them. you're right that it's not a business - it's a part of a whole business ecosystem. not shown here but in the press conference, the owner of the bank behind them said they already had plan for development many years down the roads.

You know pageant sites and pageants in general are biased and favors the Filipino because of the ingrained popularity of pageants in the whole country. Yes pinky’s have added interest to the pageant bi doubt and I’m not doubting her and she will be a good one if she wins. I’m just pointing out how certain pinky’s are taking credit of her joining to make this pageant relevant. This pageant will garnered a lot more interest as the Latin countries start to appoint their girls and once fans see the activities and events. Just look at cosmo media team. Their media reels are already better than other pageants in creating hyped clips

Ahtisa brought A LOT of hype from international AND local fans (and a lot of jealousy too - nobody expected a 1st runner up of MI would participate in a first time pageant). Please continue to follow and support Miss Cosmo, it has the potential to become the next big thing, and you know they ACTUALLY have the budget and people to support the vision (unlike *cough*MissCharm*cough*)

Ahtisa is so strategic. She played her cards right. She knows the value and ROI behind Miss Cosmo. If Miss Cosmo is smart, they'll crown Ahtisa to build up the momentum and gain fandom across the world. Knowing that PH is the heart of beauty pageants (this can be argued obviously), they need to align with a country that will continuously help with the fan base. Ahtisa must focus now on having more confidence and more command as a public speaker. Miss SA Cosmo is a motivational speaker. Ahtisa's team should have her on motivational speaking engagements and she needs to speak in English only from now on. The base of Cosmo is Vietnam so she can't use the Tagalog language in interviews and public speaking.

UNIMEDIA is actually RICH RICH (unlike the broke owner of Miss Charm), they even had the budget to buy the whole MUO (but sadly didn't happen), so I have no doubt that they will pull out all the stops to make the first edition a success. Expectations are sky high, there are a lot of room for errors in the first one, but I have faith in them. I don't expect Miss Universe level of production and quality right off the bat, but it should be more interesting than MI or MW for sure.

The difference between MU and M8 is M8 already has an ecosystem behind to support them, including bank, resort, hotel, golf course… Of course they will continue to create the M8 own ecosystem. Like they are building a new mall/hotel in Đà Nẵng right now. M8 is only a part of their ecosystem. And if you weren’t aware, Unimedia actually wanted to acquire MUO in 2022 but Ms. Ann was a step faster. So they definitely have the financial power. And their plan probably started way earlier.
