Wow, the most fantastic opening for any beauty pageant so far - this really is a pageant with a very clear cause and worldwide relevance, which is to protect and take care of our mother earth, the planet which we live in. Bravo MISS EARTH pageant! Though I also love Miss Universe, the most prestigious of all pageants, but Miss Earth really gives what the title is all about! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas, mabuhay ang MISS EARTH pageant. Antalino ng nag-conceptualized nito, name pa lang ng pageant, alam mo na agad ang focus. Miss Earth may not be as appealing to other spectators, unlike the Miss Universe, but whether we like it or not, it is indeed a beauty pageant worth supporting as it involves surviving amid the devastating catastrophes that is happening because of our negligence.

miss earth is not only a beauty pageant who celebrates the beauty of every women around the world, it also recognize the ability of women to create social impact and awareness regarding the environmental problems are world is facing right now. Are world is dealing with a lot of environmental problems like global warming, diminishing natural resources and so much more.... these problems can lead to extinction of many speceis including humans.. every girl in these competition did their best to create awareness and become an eco-warrior... instead of bashing this pageant with a noble cause who can also benefit us and our children... why don't we shift gears and instead of doing worthless thing like bashing ... let's do something of noble cause... and do something to save our environment and our only planet..

The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Before the most beautiful delegate wins, but now it is a matter of who can deliver the main purpose of the organisation the most.
