2:03 and 9:14 Hot Chocolate (aka Larry Edwards) is the world's most renowned Tina Turner impersonator, appearing in _What's Love Got To Do With It_ and several other films. She is a true legend in the drag world with a tribute in 2023 on _RuPaul's Drag Race_ alongside iconic fashion designer Bob Mackie and additional appearances on _The Tonight Show_ and _Oprah._ She was also one of the most widely respected drag artists in the United States in a time much less friendly to the art, having been given the Key To the City of Las Vegas. Hot Chocolate is still working today, often with fellow icon Frank Marino in Las Vegas.

This "contest" was the first reality show ever in a VHS format. The pageant was staged , not exactly rigged.

I know Hot Chocolate and Tasha Kohl are still alive today! I wonder how many other contestants are still alive today? Michael Andrews reminded me of Linda Evans, actress Was this the very first drag pageant held? Drag Pageants were hosted in a more much more professionally!! The hosts they hire are SO ghetto!!
