Magnificent! I laughed, i cried and now i want to listen again. What a gift you are Ms. Sophi! These two characters were a complete joy getting to know. They have a very similar relationship to my own parents who bickered constantly for the sport of it. My father was American born but British to the core and very much like this duke. We loved him anyway 😂. Thank you for a delightful story. Exceptional narration by Ella Lynch as usual.

Dear Sofi, the is my second listen to this terrific story, and I’m so glad I gave it an other listen. There were many things I missed the first time around that added so much to the story. Like many others I laughed, cried, scolded the characters, and smiled through most of the story. Like the other characters in the wishing well series they were so real, flawed, heroic, loving, lovable, kind, stubborn, endearing, broken and redeemable. You my dear are a teacher as well as an outstanding author. I don’t say that lightly as I listen to many audio books. While there are several authors I enjoy listening to, you have become my top favorite. You write from your heart, i can feel it. I look forward to many more of your books. Wonderful story! Proving once again the redemptive power of love. Both the hard hearted duke and miss Hilversham were in need of redemption, she because of the guilt and sorrow she’d carried for twenty years and he because of his wicked ways. And you taught that important lesson without being preachy. I’ve come to know that I can trust your books to satisfy my need for a good book, a decent book filled with interesting characters, intriguing plots, and good humor. Why some authors feel they have to reduce love to smut and proper language for crudeness is a mystery to me. Thank you Sofi. Your devoted reader in British Columbia. What’s next pray tell?
