10 lb bag of potatoes goes a long way (loaded baked, mashed, breakfast country, French fries, hash browns, steak fries, loaded fries, etc.). A big bag a rice, onions, bell peppers, fresh spinach, beans, carton of eggs, oatmeal, big box of Bisquick (biscuits, waffles, pancakes, etc.). That’s what I would buy for a mother with kids. Nothing frozen - she has to create & cook.

Ms. Jackie made a lot of good points and not one lie was told. My grandmother use to watch me and when I was around two she started teaching me how to "cook". She would have me in the kitchen handing her spoons or bowls and let me stir things. By the time I was seven or eight I was able to do it on my own.

Yes my grandmother was the same. I was in the kitchen with her making biscuits from scratch and when my mom would say something she would tell her to leave me alone. I wish i knew how to cook like she did though. Everything she made was delicious.
