I'm glad that she shows how hard it is to video as you do the work (especially smaller pieces). She is right, either you have the camera overhead and it is an awkward position to draw/paint in, or you do it upright, and then you have to fight with the camera to "see" what is going on. Most people who do not video their work have no idea how hard and time-consuming (& computer storage consuming) it is. They just see a speeded up version, and think it can be finished in a few minutes when the actual project takes hours

sad that artists need to resort to awkward set-ups like this for the current trend of timelapses and videos to satiate the social media algorithms - i dont think her general audience would care so much if she filmed from the side anyway - and shes already so popular so not really sure why should would choose to continue this way.
