I'm having a moment here. As I read Isaiah 1:21-26 and had the experience of a druggie pull a knife on me in front of my kids. I in the moment got real physical and done what I needed to do to be the one standing there for the police. Then a couple days later take my son fishing and see that same guy fishing because he was a nark for the police. Where is the justice in that. I left that with God too. In the moment I did what I needed to do and had no regrets or feeling like I needed to repent for beating that guy to a pulp. I just don't understand I guess. Is what I learned from that is my 2nd amendment right from that moment forward.

I'm not sure it's talking about Jesus' resurrection when it says "it was concealed from them", in chapter nine, verse 45. It appears instead to be referring to Jesus being delivered into the hands of those who wanted to kill him, as Jesus himself says in verse 44. Plus, the disciples had already seen Jesus raise the only son of the woman in Nain, and also Jarius' daughter. So why would the notion of resurrection be so hard for them to grasp?
