My husband quit driving a truck to take care of me when I acquired MS. He would tell me he didn't have any idea of what I did around the house. I could not have done anything without him. He passed from Cancer 5 yrs. Later. Together for 33yrs I now live alone and am struggling. He did make me stronger so that I could survive. But now things are catching up with me. I love and miss him so much. See you when I get there. Love, Hattie

I also have MS and my husband quit working to take care of me. I am so sorry for your loss. I would have to go into an assisted living or something like it without him. He tries but his mom did everything for the men so he didn't know how to do anything. I did it with 3 children and a full-time job along with the MS. We do not have anyone near us so we are on our own. We are in our late 60s. I pray nothing happens to him.

A message for Jase. I had a herniated disc in my lower back. With God's help and time I fully recovered. I started taking Knox gelatin (any brand will do) but get hydrolized gelatin and take about a 1/4 cup daily (I take it with my coffee, blended) but as it is tastless you can mix in a smoothy or any way you like. I will pray for your family for their issues. God Bless, Dennis PS my back has been like an 18 year old's back for 16 years, no pain as long as I take the gelatin.

Long ago, I read the All Creatures Great and Small books by James Herriot, a British vet. In his daily travels, a dog would jump out from behind a wall snarling and barking and the dog would race him down the road. Dr. Herriot was so worried that he would hit the dog or run over him. Finally one day, he got out of his car and scolded the dog fiercely. After that, the dog was never the same. He lost his personality and was more sedate and forlorn acting. After that Dr. Herriot missed the ‘old dog’ and thought he had ruined the dog. I think the same would happen to Jase. If we tell him not to tell his stories, we would ruin Jase. He would be like the dog: no personality, no energy, ruined. So, though I’d like Jase to let someone else talk or not talk about his seatbelt until after the verdict in court (you don’t think he’ll go to jail, do you, haha!), I’m afraid he would be ruined. And I do like his stories. But I’d like to hear more from Phil too. Love your podcast!

But I was down, down for the count. My Husband was really human sitting, except that he had to go to work every day, and I was here, taking care of myself, which was very very difficult.
