I have to give ‘Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children’ an A+. I thought this film was fantastic! This was very creepy yet child-like. It was a great mix. I literally do not have one bad thing to say about it. The visuals, the acting, the story, the music - everything was wonderful. It was so well-made and you were never once bored or lost. It told the story perfectly with no missing holes. I would see this again and again and recommend it to everybody.

I am right, because the news about it was everywhere. But anyway, the JOINT statement literally says “neither party has made false accusations for financial gain.” That is their JOINT statement. Depp even admitted his guilt, which is why Amber didn't go to court with it, and, even if he hadn't, there is video evidence, witnesses, Amber even had physical injuries, screenshots of text messages between her and Depp's assistant about his abuse, etc. Like? What more do you Depp-fans want? She donated literally all of the settlement money. All of it. Half to an organization that helps domestic abuse victims less fortunate than her and the other half to the Children's Hospital that she has been volunteering at for the past 10 years. I can not, for the life of me, understand why people insist on insulting her.

+abookden it's based on the book, so it can't be exact, otherwise it's classed as Copyright. In my opinion I think that they've given Emma Levitation (Olive's power), air AND fire, unless they've swapped Olive and Emma around. In any case they had to, for Copyright reasons because, as I said before, it's only based on the book; it's the same with Lord Of The Rings, Return Of The King, in the book the last of The Rangers fought at Gondor, whereas in the film, it was, obviously, The Ghost Army so they had to change a few things. it's just for money and Copyright reasons. Sorry if I went all 'movie nurd.' xx

saw this movie on opening night. though they added some brilliant "Tim Burton" parts, and moved a few things around from the book, overall great movie. do not show up to the theaters expecting to see the miss peregrine's home for peculiar children you love, but to expect to see a great, adventurous, and funny movie. no doubt there will be a hollow city. it ended with a perfect cliff hanger.

*sigh* If you haven't read the book, then move along, because I'm about to complain about how HORRIBLE this looks. Since when can EMMA, our hot tempered little biscuit, control WATER? Not to mention old Miss Peregrine looks like a 20 year old hooker. But what really pisses me off are the hollows. The monster made out to be the most terrifying creature that haunts the peculiars looks like a generic horror movie monster. And being able to see them takes away some relatability (spelling smh). In the book, you could sympathize with everyone in not being able to see the hollow. Now it's just like "Oh look, a monster I've seen in a hentai before and a Wight that looks like Nelson Mandela"

That's not Emma, it's olive. She says in the trailer that she controls air, and does some of the same things olive does in the book, like levitating with a rope tied around her waist. And I personally like Eva green playing miss peregrine. I think the actress is in her mid 30's as well, so u can't blame her for looking young. And I don't think i saw any of the other children being able to see the hollows in the trailer. It looked like it was just Jacob. The movie definitely looks different than the book, but I don't think it'll stray too much from the main storyline

+Muser4Life Well, just looking at the trailer it kinda looks like a more childish, quirky version X-Men, which is odd, because the book was nothing like that. The first half of the book was basically like a mystery-thriller, where the protagonist is confronted with a weird situation and wants to find out what exactly is going on. For the first half of the book you had pretty much no idea, if there actually is something supernatural going on, if the portagonist is just insane or if there is some kind of logical explanation for everything. And when halfway through the whole supernatural stuff was introduced, it was far from being like X-Men. The house wasn't really a school to train gifted children, but rather a sanctuary for them, because they were hunted. The book was actually way darker and mature than the trailer seems to be, which is why the comments under this video are apparently either "Looks like X-Men" (from people who don't know the book) or "This is awful" (from people who know the book)^^
