I agree with Quad to be in a Monogamous Relationship. However, the woman in the video is explaining exactly what a Polygamous Relationship really is; still a commitment. Many people who are into multiple partners, don't want to be in a committed relationship, like those in Situationships and Open Relationships. That lady is saying that if you're willing to have multiple people, the relationship has to be completely based on commitment either as a village (polygamy) or one-on-one (monogamy). As the person that originated and thought through the concept, she wanted the women to actually be married to medicine. Why using a example of Phaedra to justify why she remained for so many years is it illogical fallacy. Because pedro didn’t set the tone for them bringing women that are not married to medicine. She set the tone. Because once she was no longer married to Dr. Gregory she was no longer married to medicine.and so she’s the one or her role in staying in the show is what is spearheading the justification for them to add someone like Phaedra instead of Phaedra being on the show is justifying her remaining on the show.

I think Quad does need to move on to something better than M2M, she's not married to medicine a Dr. anymore. This wasn't the way Mariah envision and initially created the show to be. Claudia is intentionally missing Mariah’s point, because there are so many shows where the cast no longer matches the intended purpose of the show. Mariah wanted to keep Married to Medicine true and authentic to black couples in medicine showing the ins and outs of their lives in the field or their connection to the field via their spouse. I’m not saying Quad isn’t good TV but i think she would’ve benefited from a spin off show. And also im a faithful watcher of M2M and I’ve NEVER heard Quad speak about being an ambassador for the NICU. We haven’t seen her going to any meetings or having fundraiser for these hospitals so i can see why Mariah would say she has no connection to medicine, as a watcher i thought the same thing until hearing this. But nevertheless I enjoy Quad on TV but i do think M2M stunts her TV potential and greatness

I don't want it but if this African woman wants to be in a polygamous marriage than that's her choice and preference. It could also be a cultural thing as well. It's not uncommon for some African men to have more than one wife. Al I caught on to that as well that she also likely meant it's about the type of money a man has and if he can afford 4 wives than he must be wealthy. I prefer monogamy. But I don't want to standard shame in this case because it seems cultural.

It’s sad to see that not one of these people heard the accent in the woman’s voice to understand she’s not American and to ask where is she from that she’s telling a man he needs 4 wives? It’s common in other cultures to have multiple wives. I am saddled that not 1 of these host were educated enough to say she’s not in America. This is not our culture here but there are many people in America in polyamorous relationships. It may not be for you but please stop looking down on other people for how they want to live. This is a very common thing in parts of Africa. The women in those cultures understand and accept it.

I actually watched Mariah's interview and she was NOT trying to be shady. Quad is NOT married and shes NOT a doctor. Mariah created the show, so she 💯 can speak on what her original concept for M2M was- which was to feature successful doctors of color & their families.

I like Quad but she is not “Married” to Medicine. I think that’s the only franchise who stays true to its name with the exception of Phaedra. We know her storyline was made up just to get her in bc she’s good tv and no matter how low RHOA ratings drop, they’re not having her back.
