I’m not saying you are, but I’ve read so many comments about her needing to sit down etc. Why? When an older woman stops doing what they are passionate about, loves, and enjoys stopping is just not an option. People that enjoy working, what they do often times feel like if they stop they will slowly decline. Her supporting her son, spoke volumes to me. It simply said she has unconditional love and support. Good, bad, ugly, or indifferent times is when unconditional love for her son. It doesn’t mean she agrees with what he did.

I do not agree with some of the things they have done; but some family members act like I am supposed to automatically hate the son I carried and gave birth to. No, he did not hurt children or commit a sex crime. People just do not like what happened, and assume I should abandon him. That 10 months carrying him+18 hours of labor and delivery do just go away. I will never condone foolish, criminal behavior. I will also never forget that I gave birth to him. While I raised him with morals, I was never the only influence in his lifetime. I am in my 40s, while my husband is 71. I will not allow him to just lie down and be a wretched old man. Because I love him and want to keep him for the rest of our lives, I keep him as active (mostly walking) as I can. Once you lie down and stop doing what keeps going, there could be a decline. I go past this location often, and i don't see this ever happening. As a north St louis resident who has lived up under imminent domain threat for decades am not to keen on hearing she wants to use that, for which she can't anyway because her restaurant is for profit and not a gov. place for general public use. I never was a fan of the food , but I was a fan of the show. I don't know for sure, but I just believe this place is not Robbie's, but another individual who will be using the name Sweetie Pies. Retired St Louis Cardinals baseball player Ozzie Smith had a club out in the affluent area of St louis called Ozzies, but the place was not his, they were using his name and he made appearances. I believe that is what is going on here. That is a lot of money to invest into a soul food rest. in that area. People from St louis remember when that was a National Food store back in the day and recently a Family Dollar.

Tim dragged his trial on an on for years inspite of the overwhelming evidence against him! No doubt she received a nice compensation for the Upper Crust (government). And I remember her having health issues in the past. In my opinion she should retire. The human body does crazy things all out of the blue sky. Go to bed feeling great. Wake up look in the mirror and don't recognize the old person looking back at you 👿. Just like that 😢😮. True. After a while can't hear, can't see, can't remember your phone number, can't drive anymore, etc. Yeah, she needs to retire and enjoy the fruit of her labor.

I think Ms Robbie knows best what is best for her. She is an amazing person and stronger than most. If she wants to open another restaurant then it is her choice.. I wish her GodSpeed and Best Wishes for whatever she decides. It is her choice NOT YOURS. Most of these folks do not understand work ethics and doing what you love. Fully support anything she decides.
