I'm trying to figure out what on earth the judges despised about Miss Germany. She was beautiful and charming, yet she was severely undermarked in every phase of the contest.

Miss England's boyfriend was surely watching this too, her nerves got the better of her; Miss Canada was very poised. Miss Guam was indeed a charmer too; Miss Germany seemed uncomfortable on stage, Miss Brazil, one of the prettiest of the 12, made a mistake not using interpreter, while Miss Italy looked a bit fed up with it all.

I just love Terri Utley (Miss USA). This woman is total class. She and Miss Guam were the most charming. Actually, Terri reminds me of Princess Diana. She is the epitome of the "girl next door".

The funny thing is that England actually scored 3rd in interviews. So the judges liked her honesty. Too bad they underscored her in swimsuit and evening gown, she and South Africa should have been the top-2.

Miss Guam was very charming. That's why she scored the highest and was the clear front runner. But her eye brows were horrible.

To this day I still don’t understand how Miss Guam made it to first runner up. Yes, she gave a good interview but her swim suit and evening gown performance was a whole different story.

the judges were so objective. if they really want you to win regardless of your performance, they will let you win.

Guam was very charming and natural. She deserved her height placement. USA was lovely, articulate and down to earth. Germany was dull and lacked personality. Greece was ok but didn’t stand out. England ruined her chances by subtly putting down the Latin men. Uruguay did not answer Bob’s question about how she feel about the Latin men, but I think that was the interpreter’s fault who generalized the question. She had a very full face too. This round: Guam, USA, Uruguay, Greece, Germany and England.

A la inglesa me hicieron una pregunta y quizás no fue lo más políticamente correcto, pero ella respondió a lo que le preguntaron. O sea, comparar a un peruano con un inglés, un mundo de diferencia.

Te equivocas... le preguntaron sobre su preferencia en cuanto a los hombres latinos o los ingleses... no sé mencionó un país en específico... sin lugar a dudas su respuesta fué honesta y se ganó el abucheo del teatro, en estos tiempos cualquier miss hubiera dicho lo contrario para meterse falsamente a la gente al bolsillo...

La.brasileña muy perdida no contestaba lo q.le.preguntaba Bob; su ingles era mediocre .. La inglesa muy linda y honesta obvio q son años luz mejores los ingleses jajaj.pero debio manejar la diplomacia ..a pesar de ello su puntaje fue uno de los mas altos..la castigaron.en los sgtes 2 desfiles .. Canada la mas completa bella e inteligente ; la.italiana muy seria y parece q no quedo conforme con su entrevista hasta con un dejo de enojo ..Guam encantadora ..la.peruana bonita ..buena anfitriona ..

I loved Bob Barker and thought he did an amazing job....but....I think he was very unfair to Miss England and basically humiliated her during her interview. To make it worse, he used his interview with Miss Uruguay (which followed), to run Miss England further into the ground. It was disgusting! Bad bad 👎 approach Bob...

That was my first impression too when I first watched the competition. However after watching the interview again, I think Miss England could have handled the question much better. Bob actually didn’t ask her which countrymen she prefer. He merely asked her to compare the two. She didn’t have to indicate her preference. I have always thought that her answer, albeit honest, was not diplomatic enough. She would have got a much lower score in nowadays competition.

Nice Bob for crucifying Miss England not once but twice. You totally embarrassed her during her own interview, and then you brought it up again during Miss Uruguay's interview too.

Miss Germany is absolutely stunning, she has a beautiful face! But that hair didn't help her at all... she should have worn it in a bun, slicked it back or something. Very unfair low score in this interview section.
