@@AznDragonQueen Oh come on. Why don't you give Shamcey Supsup-Lee and the stand alone Miss Universe Philippines franchise a chance? Look at Madame Stella Araneta and Binibining Pilipinas. They didn't have their first Miss Universe winner under their name until their sixth edition with Gloria Diaz in 1969. Just because you disagreed with the winner doesn't mean you put people down. I've seen way worse PH bets in Miss Universe before like Jennifer Barrientos and Bianca Manalo that were complete whiffs. Finally, I recommend focusing on Philippine pageantry as a whole with every pageant that is in play year after year than zeroing in on Miss Universe.
