Unfortunately, knowing Osmel Sousa in the present MU Organization and his view on dark-skinned women. Chelsea would most likely be unplaced like Celeste Cortesi. Very possible truths be told. Though, I hope that the diversity in Mexico would at least give her a spot even if it's just top 20 to 10. Sure Celeste was one of his top pics, but that was only because she had bright skin. On the other hand, Chelsea has dark-skin. And Osmel doesn't favor those kinds of looks.

I believe in destiny. Wow! You guys have to stop bashing because beauty is SUBJECTIVE! She is beautiful, kind, competent, and confident, and that's all the CHARACTERISTICS she needs to win the crown. Not the skin tone color, not the standard of beauty, which almost everybody thinks only mestizas are beautiful. She has the standard of a true Queen! And that's why she got it! "The judges got it exactly right!"

Ms. Bulacan's answer was indeed smart and eloquent, She looks small but won't disappoint us as she can bring a lot to the table if given proper training and management. Ms. Chat Silayan former Ms. Philippines and Miss Universe 1980 3rd runner-up is what I can say I recognized for her beauty. Once you focus your eyes on her she is a beautiful Black Filipino. She is far from that overacting, over-hyped Iloilo who looks like a muscle builder in the first place for being so much volume and muscle mass. From the moment I see her glam photo I know she will be a silent killer.

Im gonna be honest, I dont see her winning until prelims. My jaw dropped when I saw her in that yellow gown during prelims. Her and Taguig are my top 2 after prelims. Chelsea has aura and very commanding when she walks. She speaks well too. I dont understand the hate shes getting now, I mean she performed flawlessly during the Finals. The others just overdid everything. We Filipinos are really the best and worst fans ever.

I wasn't surprised at all. After the preliminary competition, I knew Bulacan would be up there in the top 5. She did very well in all segments, including the preliminary interview. Then came the night of the finals, my jaw dropped when she came out on stage in that white evening gown. It's still a competition, and it's not always the most popular who wins. Remember Ariella Arida from 2013? She wasn't the top choice to win the title under Bb. Pilipinas, but she bested 39 other candidates and eventually finished 3rd runner-up at Miss Universe.
