Gotta agree with Emily and Bodlarka here. Unless she's Aboriginal, it wouldn't be very appropriate for her to be dressing in Aboriginal clothing and doing an Aboriginal dance. Still not a big fan of her dress though, she could have at least worn a dress inspired by Australia's lovely beaches or outback or something. That just looked tacky.

For people saying that Miss Philippines' dance was boring, it's not boring. The music that she danced to was serious and ominous sounding. Do you really expect people to clap to the beat or yell out in excitement during such music? No. The audience was captivated and were being respectful. So stop saying that they got bored.
@mikojordan1893
@mikojordan1893 7 жыл бұрын
yea because it's a serious dance. It's a queen dance. no one's supposed to cheer, jump and clap during the dance. they would have looked rude and ignorant if they did.

I know it wasn’t her fault but she could say something about it, or maybe she can’t dance in which case I would say that is absolutely ridiculous that being how we Dominicans are they send a person that can’t dance to represent us. What's funny is that Malaysia and Indonesia was colonized too. I think religion have parts in culture since Protestants of Britain and Netherlands are reluctant to spread their faith the way the Zeal Catholics do because they don't want to disrupt trade over faith. Catholics force people to study their language to adopt their religion, Protestant spend times translating the Bible to local language before preaching it. Or it could be that British and Dutch have Company while Philliphines were direct Crown Colony.

Wtf is going on with Ireland? That's not how Irish dancing looks like... that's actually so embarrassing!
@Holly-on6ey

JANNA I did Irish dancing for 3yrs What she did *was* technically Irish dancing however the moves she used were VERY rudimentary and basic and very sloppily done. You actually need to stiffen up when you do an Irish step dance and her body was like floppy bacon😂 Another thing is that Irish dancers NEVER have their hair long. It must be in tight ringlet curls(many at the competitive level actually buy pre-made wigs so they don’t have to continuously curl their own hair) or a tight ponytail-although that’s rather abnormal, I have seen it-

I agree I did Irish dance for 6 yrs and am a champion level dancer. Here steps were basic and very poor. It was a let down to watch. She should’ve learned at least the treble reel.
