He was from my little village and one of my relative. He was my grandfathers best childhoods friend.

no : in no case... "thanks to France" -just thanks to whoever, in France as everywhere else, fought for Freedom and was and for that reason treated as an enemy by the French police

France has always recognized the heroes of her country including Hero Missak Manoutchian. Thanks to France that has taken the greater step with placing Missak Manoutchian and his wife, Melineh to Pantheon with an unforgettable ceremony. Vive la France, Vive les Heroes de la Guerre 1900s.

He experienced a war and is wise like thousands of other non-Armenian children. I am a Sephardic from Trabzon, my grandmother was wise even after the war because of the war but not through a genocide. A war in which you French were involved and cooperated with the perpetrators.

Unuseful political opportunism. Glorifying a death after 80 years won't help solving issues caussed to living with your incompetence. Continue to distribute medals, is all what you are capable instead of leading the right action to improve people life.
@harmony580711 ай бұрын
It may not help people today, but glorifying someone after 80 years, 10 or 300 is not a problem, instead it is good to remember those who cared for the country (in this case for France) and died for it's liberation! And plus it opens the mind of people to not be nationalists, racists, fascists, but more Universal trying to accept any human being regardless their origin. Get it?

These people were heroes and your comments sound disrespectful. Find other subjects to criticize you opponent.

A typical control tactic. We know you by your manipulative, childish comments. Too bad most of you haven’t learned anything from your sins.

@@mikemur Yes. Their comments are strange. What's wrong in honoring the heroes?

Better now when their almost 100 years old last two living comrades in the FTP-MOI Resistance Leon Landini and Robert Birenbaum can witness it in the flesh than later.
