Wait wait, i don't get it, does te ciliary muscles contract and relax gorezintly or verticaly to the suspendory liagans? bc it doesn't make sense, if it's with it, then it's contraction will cause it to pull twords each other not relaxation, but if it's oppisite then contraction will cause to pull the lence outwords and dilation

Think about your bicep getting bigger when your muscle contracts. When the ciliary muscle contracts, it makes it appear thicker and the diameter of the pupil becomes smaller. This makes the fibers looser and the lens more circular.

If as you say only the lens can change shape to alter accommodation, then why do myopics have elongated eyeballs and presbyops have shortened eyeballs?
