I got in a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick today in a box and I put it on to try it, even though my lips were a bit dry at the time and I was thinking it would just show my dry like cracked lines, but it actually worked better than my lip balm! I fell in love instantly and I am not even a lipstick girl normally! Trying to get into make up and your videos have helped me a lot! Thank you so much! 💓

I would like YSL to include more make up like an eyeshadow palette or one of mono eyeshadows, highlighter, blush the next time. Definitely can switch things up with skincare and copious amount of lipsticks.

I agree. The "free with purchase" mini skin samples could make up 1 day. Minis of blush, highlighter etc might actually enthuse people enough to buy the full size. Feels like these brands waste opportunities to grow their customer base.

I have been hoping to see the YSL 2024 advent calendar and your review 😊 You do an excellent job of explaining how this is a designer brand & so you’re paying for the name & it won’t be comparable to more budget friendly beauty calendars. Then you can go in knowing to expect minis (so full size lipsticks are a bonus!). This was the best YSL Calendar I’ve seen with broader range of products and less red lipstick. Opium is one of my favourite fragrances of all time. The addition of 3 skincare items from the same premium line & Pureshots for night, day and eye routine is an excellent way to test out very expensive designer products as a whole routine. I’m sensitive to almost all skincare and makeup until I found Clarins the only brand I’m not allergic to any of their range. This year Clarins in Australia released 12 day and 24 day Advent Calendars at insane prices (keep in mind our $AUS dollar is valued at half a £GBP!). If you ever get a chance to review the Clarins Advent calendar I’d love your feedback & thoughts on if it’s worth it? I wish in Australia we had access to all the Advent calendars you review, but even if that gorgeous Vogue Calendar was available here it’d be double the price you paid and I felt that price viscerally on your behalf! Fantastic to see you getting more PR (YSL the other day!) and look forward to more of your excellent reviews (1 of only select channels I subscribed to & get notifications). Cheers 😊

I get a kick out of your excitement! Beautiful calendar but the prices are insane. I've never had a YSL product and guess I never will. I would love one of their lipsticks. The packaging is gorgeous! Thanks for spending so much money to share these calendars with us. I got an Elemis calendar in 2023 and the Space NK one this year. I always go by your video, recommendation, info and price before I buy a calendar which has helped me choose an Advent right for me. Thank you and Take care! 💝💝

EXACTLY! how come a 7ml Blak Opim sample is £30 , surely no one would pay this for such an amount of an old scent....And.... Hylauronic Acid is one of the cheapest ingredients in skincare and there is only one (CHEAP!) substance called hyaluronic acid you can buy a hylauronic Acid serum without nasties for as much as £3 per 30 ml ! but put it in YSL bottle and it comes to £60 per 30 ml...unless it is the magic of the mysterious IRYS ;)

Thanks for sharing! So fun to watch you unbox this. While I won’t buy this as it doesn’t offer enough value for money to me, I’m so pleased to see different and darker lip colours in a calendar for a change. Not everyone wants to wear or suits pinks and pale nudes. There are a few calendars I didn’t buy this year for the first time because the makeup colour choices were all unsuitable for me.

All that excess packaging on those tiny sizes is crazy. Those lipsticks all looked the same to me except the balm. No eyeshadow palettes etc. I just don't understand ordinary people unable to claim against tax like influencers buying this.

I think you should wear the Lipsticks you get in all these Advent Calendars and tell us which one you're wearing every time you do a new vlog!! Especially, the RED lipsticks, seeing as we are almost stepping into the festive season. Just a suggestion!!! 👍👍🥰

The price on this one does not seem as high as some of the others. Funny how we still have available Calendars this late in the season. BUT WHY WOULD THEY GIVE SUCG A BIG BOTTLE FRAGRANCE FOR A MAN, since they women are buying this, So frustrating.

I also bought a YSL advent calendar and was shocked to find out that I had 2x Black Opium and 2x Loveshine Lip Oil Stick in Shade 150 - Nude Lingerie. On the other hand, I was missing Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick in Shade 2 - Healthy Glow Plumper and Mon Paris. I was shocked by this but otherwise satisfied.

i wouldn't pay more than £150 for a calendar with brown and brownish reds for lipsticks and a clear lipbalm, what happened to universal pinky nides, nudes ? Who wears brown lipsticks or brown reds ? how come for £ 280 THEY ARE SKIMPING on their FAMOUS co called Universal BLUSHES....that are all over the media ?!?!?!

This one is actually ok, if you love lipsticks and YSL perfumes, apart from the last day! Correct me if I am wrong but I think it's so important to end on a high/extra special item. That mini frangrance, such a disappointment. Hmmmm
