Sick of people telling me Im "selfish " for wanting to find myself. Ive been married for 10 years. I never been the type of person to allow someone, including my husband, to tell me what to like, take interest in, how to be. In 10 years I lost who I was, liked, dreamed about, etc.

I married so young that I didn't develop any passions. The children are grown now and I devoted every day to work and marriage. No friends nor hobbies. Day to day routine

Interesting. If marriage is supposed to be a reflection of Christ and His bride, the church, why shouldn’t we expect to lose our identities the way the church loses its identity in Christ? You and your spouse become one. This is an interesting concept to me. How can you be one if you are still trying to be your former self? I haven’t watched the video and I’m no expert on this topic. I’m just pondering what “no losing yourself”means In my own mind. Going to watch now :)
